Biography
Mr. Wei-Qun Li is a consultant of KaiRong.
Mr. Li gained his PHD in law at Nagoya University in 2004, and he left Postal Doctoral Research Center of East China University of Political Science and Law in 2006. He now works as an insurance law professor and PHD supervisor at East China University of Political Science and Law. In addition, he is the director of Insurance Law Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law, vice president of Shanghai Insurance Institute, special reviewer of Shanghai Insurance, social supervisor of China Insurance Regulatory Commission Shanghai Bureau (two terms), expert assessor of Shanghai Insurance Exchange’s major bidding programs. arbitrator of Shanghai Arbitration Commission, arbitrator of Zhanjiang Arbitration Commission. Since 2019, he has been Chief Consultant for insurance law of Shanghai Rui-Zai-Bao-Chuang Management Consulting Company.
Mr. Li has been devoted himself to the study and academic research of Insurance law and Negotiable Instrument Law over a long period of time. He edited Analysis of Typical Insurance Claims, and he coedited two books as well as translated one book. He published more than 70 papers concerning various topics in the area of Insurance on many Chinese academic journals as well as on Japanese journals, including jurist, an authoritative journal in Japan and etc. Additionally, he takes charge of two research programs at provincial and ministerial-level, and 6 programs of General Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and China Insurance Regulatory Commission Shanghai Bureau.
